Given the nature of a family business, Dr. Erin Worgul Stankiewicz had the unique opportunity to volunteer and become acquainted with County Hearing and Balance long before she could even say the word “audiologist.” Pursuing the field of audiology was an obvious decision, and she officially began her career with County Hearing and Balance in May 2004 after graduation from the University of Connecticut with her master of audiology degree, and has subsequently earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Stankiewicz specializes in adult and pediatric diagnostic audiometry, as well as aural rehabilitation counseling combined with hearing aid fittings for all ages and degrees of hearing loss. Many of her patients have been referred from others, simply based on the care and compassion she shows to all her patients.
Dr. Stankiewicz is a board-certified audiologist, a founding member of the Connecticut Academy of Audiology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. When not working, she enjoys sailing and traveling to warm climates.
